There are many situations that lead to panic attacks for many people. These include business confrontations, job interviews, public speaking, and family dissension. While most people handle these while experiencing varying degrees of stress, there are others who completely freeze up and even experience severe physical symptoms such as breathing difficulties, blood pressure spikes, and even the loss of consciousness.

A key to recognizing the need for panic attacks help is to develop an understanding of what drives your reactions to stressful situations. Many people suffering from panic or anxiety attacks have strong fears of the unknown and of not being in control of a situation. Others suffer from low self esteem and are paralyzed by the thought of approaching strngers or speaking in public.

Dr. Todd Snyder has introduced a new anxiety self help program that is helping people manage and even eliminate their social anxiety. What is social anxiety, and is it impacting your life?

Are you uncomfortable meeting new people?

Do you avoid situations that require speaking in front of a group?

Do you stress out when faced with a verbal confrontation?

Do you stutter or freeze up in the middle of a conversation?

Social anxiety, or social phobia as it’s commonly known, is the third most prevalent psychiatric condition in the United States behind depression and alcohol dependence. People who suffer from social anxiety experience fear or panic at the thought of having to interact with other people, especially in group settings.. It is especially strong in situations where the person is expected to perform or otherwise tailor their behavior to meet some public expectation.

But there is help for people who find it difficult or uncomfortable to interact in social situations. Whether it be a fear of public speaking, nervousness in crowded rooms, or performance anxiety when people are watching, there are anxiety self help packages that can help.

The fear or panic that social anxiety can cause can be debilitating and, if not managed, can lead to depression and other more severe behavioral disorders. Fortunately, many cases of social phobia can be treated through effective anxiety self help programs. These self help programs typically provide the means for an individual to retrain the way they react in social settings, thus eventually eliminating the feelings of stress and panic that accompany social interaction.

A leading anxiety self help program is Dr. Todd Snyder’s Social Anxiety Secrets package. The program consists of a comprehensive downloadable e-book that not only discusses the causes of anxiety, but also provides a comprehensive guide to alleviating and even eliminating the feelings of social anxiety that plague so many people.

Dr. Snyder has had years of experience in providing therapeutic programs to patients suffering from all types of panic and anxiety disorders. His frustration with the lack of reliable information and self help guides led him to consolidate his years of experience in an easy to read guide that will enable anyone to follow a step by step plan to eliminate anxiety.

Topics covered include:

Learning what creates and perpetuates social anxiety

Developing confidence to reduce anxiety

Improving relationship and how to meet people skills

Overcoming “brain freeze”

How to effectively “small talk” and utilize eye contact

Eliminating the fear of being embarrassed

The information in Social Anxiety Secrets is laid out in clear and concise chapters that will take you from understanding the causes of social anxiety to utilizing self help techniques to control and eventually eliminate the symptoms.

It can be used as a quick pick-me-up while driving, listening to your iPod, or sitting at your computer.

The Social Anxiety Secrets package is a comprehensive anxiety self help program that will provide you with a wealth of information and action plans designed to help control and eliminate the debilitating effects of social phobia.

The effects of stress and anxiety can seem to be crippling at times. There are mornings where we wake up and just can’t seem to find the energy to get out of bed. Days where we dread going into the office. And nights where we toss and turn in bed trying to find sleep amongst the jumbled worries and concerns that flash through our mind. Eventually we can lose our desire to do anything. This is when we need effective self help motivation strategies.

Motivation. The drive or need to accomplish a goal. It is motivation that gets us through the ups and downs in life. We are motivated to do well for ourselves and our families. To be a good spouse. To be a good parent. To be a productive member of society. A healthy individual is motivated to accomplish all these things.

It is when stress and anxiety begin to weigh us down that we find ourselves losing motivation. When we just start to not care anymore. This when we need to seek out help to recover that sense of motivation that can push us through the downturns in our life. It’s often hard to do alone, but there are some tips that can help.

Establish clear short-term goals

Develop some short term milestones that you can focus on. Whether it be to get up an hour earlier each day to exercise, spend one night a week alone with your spouse, or even to save X number of dollars each week, these quick wins can boost your confidence and motivation levels. Long term goals are important, but short term goals will fuel the energy you need to accomplish your long term strategies.

Accept your present situation

This doesn’t mean you give up, it just means that you acknowledge your current circumstances. Don’t ignore the bill collectors calling. Don’t put off scheduling that physical. And don’t ignore the friction that might be developing at home. Accepting the issues is the first step to taking action to resolve them. Don’t hide.

Have some fun

Whatever your goals, try to inject some fun into the quest. Make it entertaining. Yes, you’re going to be working hard to get out of the rut, but it doesn’t mean you can’t try and smile or laugh at times. Take an afternoon to watch a funny movie. Make a regular night with your spouse. Self help motivation depends on you establishing some balance between work and play in your life.

Reward yourself

As you accomplish your goals, attach some kind of reward to each one. It doesn’t have to be big and it doesn’t have to be costly. Just acknowledge that sense of accomplishment when you fight through another milestone.

The key to to any self help motivation program, is it’s ability to provide helpful guidance and direction in meeting your goals. Whether it is improving your family life, getting a better job, or just learning how to better manage stress and anxiety, an effective motivational strategy plan can help. Lee Milteer, one of America’s most highly esteemed and sought after human potential speakers and productivity coaches has put together just such a program. And it’s all doable in the privacy of your own home. Take the first step to get back on track. Click here to change your life today.

Hale Carlton, a leading authority in the study of mind programming and the creator of multiple stress relief and learning audio packages, has released the Sleep Programming Audio Learning program. A pioneer in the research into sleep meditation techniques, Carlton has put together an audio program that focuses on sleep programming, or sleep learning.

Sleep programming relies on techniques that focus on feeding powerful suggestions to your mind while you sleep. During sleep, the subconscious mind is far more receptive to external stimulation via audio input. This is because when you are awake, all sensory input must get through all the jumbled thoughts and distracted focus that we tend to have when we are awake.

We spend our waking hours in a constant state of multi-tasking. We’re listening to the televison while cooking dinner. We have our iPod plugged in our ears while we’re focused on walking on a treadmill. Everything we see and hear competes with everything else going on.

But when we are sleeping, there are no external distractions, and our mind is far more receptive to audio thoughts and suggestion. It has been proven, for example, that playing foreign language audio is far more effective at teaching when you are asleep than when you are awake.

Sleep is the perfect time to learn new behaviors and change existing habits.

Hale Carlton has designed a series of audio programs that can be played on your home stereo, an MP3 player, or even on your computer while you sleep. These audio programs consist of specific suggestion packages that can focus on any number of behavior modification therapies including:

Building self-confidence

Improving the ways we manage stress

Increasing intelligence

Boosting self-esteem, and even

Losing weight

Carlton’s Sleep Programming package comes with 16 CDs, each of which is designed to support specific life improving techniques and behaviors. In addition, the program is available as a digital download which means you can easily put the recordings on your iPod or any other MP3 player.

You can improve your life while you sleep. You can experience the power of sleep meditation. Carlton Hale’s Sleep Programming collection can show you how.

Sleep meditation and sleep learning programs can improve your life. How do they work?

Your iPod can be used for far more than just rocking out to the latest playlist. Sleep meditation audio MP3 programs can actually teach you to better manage stress, learn new behaviors, and improve your life in a number of ways including:

Losing weight

Breaking bad habits

Increasing self-esteem

Building confidence

Overcoming anxiety

Learning to have more patience

Studies have proven that our brains are far more receptive to new thoughts and suggestions when we are sleeping. This is primarily due to the fact that our waking hours are typically spent in chaotic, mutli-tasking environments. We talk on the cell phone while we’re driving. We cook dinner while we’re watching t.v. We listen to a lecture in school while we’re thinking about a date we have later that night.

When we’re awake, it can be difficult to effectively focus with everything else that’s going on.

But not when we’re asleep. When we sleep, our conscious mind isn’t dealing with ringing telephones, distracting noises, or the day to day thoughts that race through our mind when we’re awake.

When we sleep, our conscious mind is at rest. This leaves our subconscious mind open and receptive to incoming audio stimulation.

There have been many studies around the effectiveness of sleep meditation and sleep learning. One such study involved a Canadian newspaper reporter who was provided an audio Spanish language sleep learning program. She had previously had minimal exposure to the Spanish language. She had never particiapted in a Spanish language class or program.

There were seven lessons in the program. In the course of seven days, this reporter played each lesson over and over for six hours each night while she slept.

On the eighth day, the reporter was placed in a room with a Spanish language expert. In the course of their meeting, the reporter was able to identify many of the objects in the room. In Spanish!

In addition, the reporter was able to converse in Spanish. Haltingly, but certainly understandably. She was even able to comprehend portions of Spanish language newspapers and magazines.

The professinal linguists who were conducting the study evaluated her Spanish language skills and determined that, in the seven days of sleep learning, the reporter had absorbed the equivalent of six months of language training for a normal adult.

Continued experimentation is also proving that wide awake learning can be effectively supplemented by sleep learning. This has been demonstrated in multiple academic studies where students supplemented their day to day classes with associated sleep learning programs. Their progress far exceeded the students relying solely on the day to day classroom training.

Psychologists are also using sleep meditation and sleep learning to teach their patients to unlearn bad behavior ranging from self-control issues to overeating. Even parents are effectively using sleep learning to teach children to control behaviors such as bed-wetting, thumb sucking, and nail biting.

Sleep meditation and sleep learning programs are effective at improving our life. They can improve our mood and outlook, reduce stress, cure bad habits, and teach us new behaviors and skills.

Take advantage of those hours when you sleep. Plug in your iPod and learn while you snooze.

Carlton Hale has developed a revolutionary sleep learning package that provides hours and hours of audio that you can structure into your own custom sleep meditation program. Improve your life through sleep learning.

High blood pressure has become one of the leading precursors to heart attack fatalities in the United States. A lifestyle that encourages fast food diets and discourages exercise has led to the rash of high blood presure cases. Stress is another leading cause of high blood pressure. Today, more than ever, effective blood pressure remedies are needed to combat this epidemic of cardiac system breakdowns.

What causes blood pressure to rise to dangerous levels? It is often called the silent killer due to the lack of any physical symptoms when it rises. But if yur blood pressure stays too high for too long, you are likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke. What can we do to reduce blood pressure levels? There are drugs available, but they come with side effects.

What can we do to lower our blood pressure without the use of prescription medications? What are some natural blood pressure remedies?

Diet

One of the most effective changes you can make to improve blood pressure is to improve your diet. Stay away from saturated fats (fried foods, etc) and eat a diet rich in potassium (bananas, oranges, avocados, and tomatoes). Potassium actually relaxes the blood vessels reducing the work your heart must do to maintain the circulatory system.

Fish Oil Supplements

Taking 2g of fish oil per day will substantially reduce blood pressure and hypertension levels. As far as natural blood pressure remedies go, fish oil is one of the most effective at preventing heart related disorders.

Breathe

Studies have shown that specific breathing techniques can significantly reduce blood pressure. Especially when these techniques are accompanied by musical tones that serve to regulate the breathing patterns. You can learn more about these breathing techniques here.

Lower Salt Intake

High dietary levels of sodium can result in increased hypertension levels, potentially leading to stroke or heart attack. Avoid using salt as a condiment. There is already too much sodium in most of the processed foods we eat day to day.

Exercise

One of the most critical components of any health regimen is exercise. Thirty minutes of exercise will strengthen the heart and lower blood pressure levels. Exercise is the ultimate blood pressure remedy.

The BreatheEasy program is a natural blood pressure treatment that can be used to lower your blood pressure in 15 minutes a day!

Avoid, reduce or even eliminate blood pressure medications!

Acquire life-changing health benefits!

Complete, clinically proven solution!

Totally risk-free 6 month trial!

Physical anxiety is manifested in numerous ways including headaches, stomach disorders, and overwhelming fatigue. All of these symptoms result in increased stress on the body and on the mind and can eventually lead to the rapid deterioration of physical stability and mental acuity.

Treatment for physical anxiety can range from simple stress reduction techniques, including meditation and self hypnosis, to more severe treatment programs revolving around drug and behavior modification therapy.

The key to determining the appropriate treatment for your symptoms is to first understand the six primary types of anxiety. This information is helpful to have in mind when you are discussing options with your doctor.

Six primary disorders that lead to physical anxiety are:

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

People diagnosed with GAD are typically anxious at some level all the time. They suffer from frequent severe headaches, stomach disorders, and constant fatigue. GAD can lead to a breakdown in the body’s immune system and eventually to a physical and mental breakdown.

Panic Attacks / Disorders

People suffering from panic attacks experience unprovoked episodes of anxiety and panic, sometimes lasting as long as 30 - 45 minutes at a time. These people also often suffer from agoraphobia, a fear of open or public places.

Phobias

Phobia sufferers are irrationally fearful of specific situations, objects, or activities. Fear of water. Fear of flying. Fear of heights. These are all phobias.

Social Anxiety

Sufferers of social anxiety have a paralyzing fear of being humiliated in public and are usually obsessed with what other people think of them.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD sufferers demonstrate physical anxiety through the tendency to have uncontrollable thoughts that lead to compulsive, repetitive behaviors such as hand washing over and over.

Separation Anxiety

Separation anxiety is more common in, but not limited to, children. Sufferers exhibit extreme agitation and anxiety when taken out of their own “safe” environment.

These six types of anxiety cover the majority of the sources of physical anxiety. Please discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

A recommended natural approach to the treatment of mild physical anxiety is the program PanicAway. PanicAway offers a revolutionary new approach to the treatment of anxiety and stress. Click to learn more about how the PanicAway system can help you alleviate anxiety and manage panic and stress.

There are many stress relief techniques available both online and off. One of the most popular approaches people take to managing their stress is to learn about the benefits of self-relaxation programs. These programs generally take the form of self-hypnosis related training and are very simple to use. In addition, there are free hypnosis online resources that you can utilize to get introduced to the power of self-relaxation and behavior modification through suggestion.

Before we point you to some of the more legitimate online free hypnosis resources, let’s dispel some of the commonly held myths around the science of hypnosis.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is essentially the process of placing someone into a relaxed state of consciousness where the mind is receptive to incoming suggestion. It is commonly used in the treatment of stress, depression, weight loss, and addiction management.

Hypnosis has been proven to be effective in the treatment of many types of adverse stimulation such as stress and addiction that can damage our bodies and psyches over time.

Some of the more common myths around hypnosis include:

Only weak minded people can be hypnotized

In fact, weak minded people typically make poor subjects as they sometimes lack the ability to inwardly focus and visualize. More intelligent people are generally better able to focus and are less subject to distractions that might interrupt the process.

When hypnotized, a subject is in a state of unconsciousness

Hypnosis does not instill unconsciousness. It is actually a state more along the lines of day dreaming. Subjects are fully aware of the experience and have the ability to come out of it at any time.

You can be stuck in a state of hypnosis

Nope, unlike those goofy 1950’s sci fi movies, this is not possible. If the hypnotist were to drop dead or walk away, the subject would come out of it on their own.

While hypnotized, you can be made to dance like a chicken

Not unless you want to. The subject is always aware of what is going and cannot be forced to do anything against their will.

If a subject can remember hearing the hypnotist’s voice throughout, they were never hypnotized

Different people experience the process of hypnosis in different ways. Remembering all that was said during the session is completely normal for many people and does not mean they were not hypnotized. Hypnosis does not induce sleep. It promotes an altered state of consciousness via changes in a subject’s brain wave patterns. These changes in brain wave patterns can place an individual into a more relaxed and suggestive state where the mind is receptive to behavior modification including changing the way a person reacts to stress.

Self-hypnosis can be a powerful tool in the management of stress and anxiety. Through the use of audio programs, a person can learn how to “retrain” their brain and body to better handle both the causes and effects of stress.
